FLEXSPACE STUDIOS is a stretching studio dedicated to helping people find freedom in their bodies via increased flexibility and strength. Our unique training methods are rooted in the world of professional dance but adapted to the realities of the everyday human. All of our offerings are customized to fit the needs of every student individually - from complete beginners to movement pros.

FLEXSPACE was born when Jemma, a former professional ballerina, and Zhana, a corporate sales professional, met one fated evening in a Toronto pole dance studio.

Coming from wildly different movement backgrounds (let's just say they had the "0 to 100" covered), they combined their brain power to design a brand new method to help others reach their flexibility and strength goals.

What Makes Us Unique

Anatomical Approach

The FLEXSPACE approach is rooted in a deep understanding of human anatomy and biomechanics. Our instructors have extensive certification in various schools of movement, and are continuously educating themselves to stay on top of the latest scientific research & development in the movement field

Professional Movers

All of our instructors are professional movers: former ballerinas, contemporary dancers, ice skaters, and pole athletes. They know what it takes to get the flexibility and strength results you want - they've been there, and they've done it.

Extensive Teaching Experience

Our team has a combined 40+ years of teaching experience. It's not enough for an instructor to know what being flexible and strong feels like in their own bodies: they need to know how to customize training plans to fit the unique needs of each FLEXSPACE student.

LIVESTREAM GROUP CLASSES

FLEXSPACE Group Class Summary

Drop-in flexibility and strength training classes, live-streamed via Zoom video calls with FLEXSPACE instructors.

  • 8+ classes per week

  • Variety of class types (Full Body Mobility, Front Splits, Middle Splits, Backbends, BarreFit, DanceFit, Flow)

  • 2 intensity levels: Lower (Beginner to Intermediate) and Higher (Intermediate to Advanced)

  • 10 students max per class

1-on-1 coaching is great if you are looking for individual attention, desire more feedback during training, are coming back after injuries (and have received full clearance from your doctor), or have concerns specific to your body. 

We provide 1-on-1 coaching in flexibility, strength, and mobility (flexibility + strength). 

All new private students are first assessed via a Zoom call to determine the best training frequency+length, and to pair them up with the best instructor for their needs.

Amazing instructors! Since training with them, I have noticed improvements in my mobility, and body awareness. Favourite class is Barre on Sundays. Such a good challenge to do something new and different. The classes are fun, and effective. Highly recommend their classes to family and friends.

The classes will make you sweat, laugh, sore the next day and improve your stability, strength, and flexibility. All instructors are amazing.   • Have a very specific goal in mind (a position or transition they are looking to perfect)

  • Prefer training on their own, but are still looking for some guidance 

  • Are looking for a more economical option than continued 1-on-1 training
